The Importance of Zoning
There is a multi-family duplex zoning in the county. We were looking at everything we could find that had that zoning or unzoned because if it's unzoned, you can put anything you want on it. And then we knew that it would probably be on septic. So we were looking for at least a half an acre. That was enough room for a four bedroom because each side was going to have two bedrooms. It left us about 25,000, 20 to 25,000 for a lot. Well, we would take a cheaper one but that was our ballpark.
