Jordy Barwell left a trail of false clues in his attacks. He'd purposely driven badly when actually he was a good driver. Although a Yorkshire man for Yorkshire Accent, he'd affected a Scottish accent. This meant that the first fingerprint examined were Scottish men with connections to leads but nothing was found. Officers from the team appeared again on Crime Watch which led to over a thousand calls being received from members of the public. Unfortunately, none of these calls produced the breakthrough needed.
