Lacan: The signifiers that make up CHAN D L E R are not of your making. They belong to the big other. There's no coincidence that when the human subject literally tries to inscribe themselves with signifiers at the level of the tattoo. Of course they're not going to put their own name on it, because there's a fundamental tension between the identification of your name as your own. And then the appropriation of some other name and its inscription onto your body. What's tattooed on your body is care from another care from mother care from other.
