Oil Companies and Windfall Profit Taxes - What's the Greenwashing?

There is this increasing feeling that I see on sort of left Twitter that the profits are bad right and specifically when it comes to oil companies. The idea is basically some version of well you know they didn't need to make all of this money. They could have just sold the oil for less money and made less profit. No one likes greenwashing. Like stop doing it. We know what you are. You produce this stuff that is dirty and sadly we all need it. Let's stop talking about anything but that.
