I'm arguing against the idea that we should just inexorably submit to the commodification of ourselves even down to commodifying our bodies. The path forward is not going to be some top down instruction to people. It's going to be changing the culture, which is a culture of people voluntarily deciding to do things in a different way. That I think is probably much more the path forward on any of these things.
