Jermaine Klimitz character is a marine biologist who studies the marine life forms of Pandora and the Tulkoon specifically. He only has a job because his knowledge is useful in exterminating them to make immortality juice for humanity. The most emotionally affecting seeing the movie for me is when spider has to watch them do a whaling that they they wail a pod of whales, just zone it as human whalers do on a mother and her calf.
