The Importance of a Studio
I'd set out on this kind of epic journey looking for a studio that's bigger than the garden shed sort of place I had. It was literally basically a garden shed at the back of another studio which is big enough for a laptop, two sets of speakers, a couple of cents a sofa and a small kitchen. And then I thought, and what was made in there? So weirdly, all the first Florence stuff, first Japanese art album rolling the deep. That's a potent shed. There's something about the little spot and the way it's set up. You think it could recreate the shed upstairs? Well, I thought actually this was supposed to be the recreation here.
