I grew up in the african highlands, and kena was a place that attracted, in former times, very many british families of er, you know, high birth. And when they left, they actually sold off a lot of their beautiful furniture. So i believe my father acquired it one of these house sales, amongst many other beautiful antiques, and offered it to me as a very, very beautiful wedding present.
