I'm a Little Bit More Sceptical, or Maybe a Bit Less Cynical.

i often notice that i am eager to disprove something r i notice that i feel really validated when i read some claim that confirms what i already believe. And just as you say, this often leads to me deciding to be a little bit more sceptical,. or just taking a moment before hitting the retweet button to double check the claim. On the flip side, sometimes there are certain claims that you look at and you go, there's no way that's true. That's also an instinctive ne jerk reaction. It's not straightforward, because, of course, you know, often your ne jerk instincts are correct. But still, i think it is worth observing them.
