Is the Peer Influence a Driving Factor in Productivity?
I think it's probably very dependent on the person, that some people are extremely motivated by that. Some are independent where it's a nice to have, but not a driving factor in motivation or productivity. And if you do hire people whose judgment you respect, then you should want to impress them. So i am personally more drawn to the mosquito thing. I i think that operating at a frontier is incredibly interesting. But it means also that you have to be, i think, less sensitive to what your peers think about you,. That it's got t cono come from.
