Mark Rylance's Static Dawson

Nolan focused on the realism of every aspect for many of the cockpit shots he had a two-seat plane rig so that the front canopy and cockpit looked like a real Spitfire but with non-functioning flying controls. He also mounted front and rear-facing cameras on a recondition Spitfire in addition he had cameramen floating in the water with the actors I don't know how how did they do this this seems terribly unsafe for all people involved um there's so much here  and it's just mind blowing you just see the entire horizon in static Dawson is closely based on Charles Lighttoler second officer of RMS Titanic who took his yacht Sun Downer to Dunkirk
