Introduction

White evangelicals in america have been heavily scrutinized, and rightly so, since the 20 16 election. Their widespread support of trump and trump ism escorted an unqualified, megalomaniacal, corrupt and immoral real estate magnate to the white house. Once trump was ensconced there, white e angelicalism enact their long standing socio political agendas with alarming speed. It's easy to conflate evangelicalism, christian nationalism and modern gynocentrism because they have so many points of intersection. But we should be able to do two things simultaneously, first naming specific religious practices like christian nationalism while not vili ing or simplifying all other religious expression.
