The team set off in early July after weeks of acclimatizing and packing gear at base camp. We end up carrying about 17 days of food heavy heavy17 days of food. The buttress comes right down to the glacier but we bypass the first four or five hundred feet in a snow gully to the left. And then you had a long section that was mostly rock climbing, quite good rock climbing,. not particularly difficult.
