There's lots of things you can do in an app kit app that currently don't have an equivalent place in the quote unquote native SwiftUI, like from top to bottom thing. All sorts of callbacks and delegates and stuff like that that I use to implement functioning on your Mac that don't exist in the SwiftUI top level thing on the Mac. In SwiftUI, since it's all declarative, someone has to have thought about wanting that information at this point to make it accessible,. Whereas app kit, it's all imperative, and I can just go get that information wherever I want it. So I continued to use app kit for all those things that haven't made it
