Swift Is a Better Programming Language Than Objective C

Swift is a much nicer language to try and write these things in than Objective C was. There's still some of that black box magic going on. Value types are incredibly lightweight. They store state in a way where you don't have to worry about references or mutable state. You can also end up with bottlenecks when you have too many allocations and things like that if you're dealing with a lot of memory, right? So that's another thing that I think will dive deeper into as we start discussing our main topics.
