Kirkar is trying to build a social imagination based on agape love. He contrasts it with the way that god loves humans because they don't look like him. Iros love produces new people, perhaps, which then start to 'look like you', he says. And i could really resonate with that as, yesi i fond that quite helpful as a way of looking at it.
