The Impact of MoCRA on the Cosmetics Industry
The focus of MoCRA is on product safety. Any facility that manufactures or processes cosmetics products intended for sale in the US will be required to register with the FDA. Manufacturers, packers and distributors and products are now going to have to list and provide to the FDA products and ingredient information. There's going to be this, oh my gosh moment for a lot of startup and early stage growth companies that the world is different.
