The Path to a Career in Journalism
As a child, you could do anything. There were no boundaries. As an adult, did you refine your interests? I had wanted to be a writer since I was a little girl and I actually had done some pretty ridiculous things for a kid. At 16 years old, I was working for the Daily Newspaper in Tucson because that's what I wanted to do. And so we had the same passions for nature outdoors, writing, learning, exploring.
