If you are not going to contribute to the planning process, you basically lose your right to complain later about what plans were made. I think that people just hate making decisions and making it a seeming like they're making the wrong decision. "I would never want my preference to override someone else's," he says. He also doesn't like when people aren't definitive with plans.
