The Future Approach or the Prediction Approach

Historically, there have been four different interpretive strategies to this book. The main one we're all familiar with is called the futurist approach or the predictive approach. It's the idea that revelation is mostly future oriented and it's a timeline of the events that will happen in the last days. Jesus is coming back and he gave us signs to look for.
