The Values of Decluttering

Every spiritual tradition emphasizes voluntary simplicity, minimalism. It does feel fantastic when you let go of things. I once interviewed a guy who was moving from Manchester to London. He packed all the stuff in a van and decided to pop up back for a cup of tea with his flatmates. The van was gone. And all of his belongings were gone. But by the time he went to bed the evening, he was filled with this tremendous feeling of liberation.
