Mammography for a Dominant Mass
A woman is referred with a lump in her breast or finds one in self-exam. If the findings of this are consistent with the benign fibro adenoma and the patient has no risk factors, then it's okay to watch with biannual ultrasound. Every six months, if there's any uncertainty though, you really need to do a corneidle biopsy. Young women tend to have dense breast tissue and because of that, mammography is less sensitive.
