The Value of Manifestation Culture
I love manifestation culture. I think it provokes the thoughtfulness that someone might need that little bit of magic to insist for them. A white person can quote unquote manifest something much more easily because there are all of the structures and systems in place that are already in our favor. Whereas you were someone who had to be so intentional and work so hard. There's a difference. We can have this very same conversation around talent. Is it that you were just inherently so talented or is it that you had every single resource or many more resources at your disposal than some other marginalized group?
