John A. Lawrence's new book is Ark of Power Inside Nancy Pelosi's Speakership, 2005-2010. Nathaniel has left us to answer these questions on the air, but he did have two questions. I worry as a citizen that it's not healthy for democracy if there are too many people whose hands are resting on the wheel. He doesn't think age is an issue in Congress and says some critics get impatient with slow progress.
