We Need Transparency, Right?

There are only four big agencies that do all the podcast ad buying. Even they, for whom it was an existential matter after 22 months, were like, well, we may go out of business if we can't screw our writers. We need transparency and, and there's also a collective action angle, collective actions valuable. What about going direct to the customers? Why do we need these middlemen at all? What if we just disintermediated? Isn't that the promise of the internet? Yeah. And look, I think that's fine.
