Joseph was staying in one of the cabins at a campground and spent most of his time in the diner flirting with Grant's mom. So soon he started coming to the house and soon he never left. She worked at a small diner slash campground slash rafting company where she met Joseph. He was a nice enough guy but everyone in the house was always in and out here and there so he never really got a chance to know him.
