Boring Books, Good Night
Some species will attach themselves with great tenderness to deserted birds, not merely to those of their own family but to any helpless orphan. Cunningham tells us that the surgeon of the Triton had a blue mountain parrot and a very beautiful smaller one on his ship. The mutual friendship of these creatures seemed to increase as time went on. You can certainly tell it's spring because about fifteen species of birds decided to chime in while I was doing this recording. As always you'll find a link to a free e-book from Project Gutenberg in the show description. Until our next boring book, good night.
