I think men who want to feel masculine are like, do I want to be on that team? Like especially a 16 year old, it doesn't seem cool. Republicans typically look at the Democrats and infer an ideological agenda where there is none. The GOP traditionally ran on ideology and not so much on constituencies. So they were all running on, I am the reincarnation of Reagan. I am the true conservative. You don't really see that in democratic circles of like, you're a fake Democrat. Who's more Democrat? Because that's not how they're processing stuff.
