In ancient Greek, there are a bunch of substrate. There's a large substrate vocabulary. In fact, pretty much any word ending in inflows is assumes to be from the substrate language that includes place names like Corinth and before the show. The people who invaded Greece, who are we now called the Greeks who spoke Greek, came from a landlocked place. And then Norwegian Vikings speaking French invaded. And they became the English or the modern.
