The Retro Swing Era
The original swing era was born in the 19 thirties when benny goodman premiered the sound of up temple hotjaws arrangements at the palamar ballroom in hollywood. The field good dance music and dance craze began a slow decline during world war two, and had mostly petered out by 19 forty seven. Then in the 19 eighties, the retro swing rebirth began with bands like royal crown review and big bad vodo daddi. Swing bans tended to be bigger and more crow ed than other jaz bands. And the music led to some pretty creative dance moves, lots of spins, lifts and flips, a style that became known as swing dance.
