I think your book helps reveal a whole other level to this sort of connection between celebrity, right? People want to think that celebrities are people they really know and they want to have a personal connection. And there's this paradox that some people felt that the palace was selling out by prostituting cheapening these awards giving them to teeny bopper rockers who hadn't earned them. I didn't mean to write about my opinion when I started it but just the logic of what people were saying about their honors, called me into it.
