I read your book Influence, at which point it was already, I think, 10 years old or something like that because this is 1993. And of course, as a 13 year old kid, I misused it like crazy wherever I was given a chance. But you know, I have a colleague who says that he's given a copy of that book influence to each of his grown children and his scrupulously avoided giving one to his wife.
