The City We Became and Lovecraft Country Confront Lovecraft
The city we became is not immediately Lovecraftian it's a kind of urban fantasy celebration of New York city. The ballot of black Tom is a direct retelling of a Lovecraft story from the point of view of one of the black characters. All three use Lovecraft differently but all three confront him directly in a way that I find fascinating. Your create assignment for this week is about fear of the unknown so first, write a one to two hundred word story about a whole that appears in the sky. For your second story once you write another hundred to two hundred words about exactly what the whole is and what it does maybe give us a little summary.
