The anguish emotionally is worse than, ye it then the pain. I tend to bring that with me wherever i go. People who are more religious also tend to be more afraid of dying. Talking about death usually directly doesn't work well for most people. But coming at it from the side and easing around it tends to be much more effective in getting there.
