Why You Shouldn't Close Up Your Eyes
When you smell something good or bad, you are literally inhaling the molecules from that thing. The higher it gets in the sky, the more imposing it is and you'll want to close your eyes. Indirect light is fine on a really, really clear day. But through a window, these tinted windows that are everywhere here are not going to set this mechanism in the ways you need. Get sunlight in your eyes as much as you safely can throughout the day. And then in evening, try and catch some sun before it goes down.
