Noornets aren't going to be a book you can casually read, but their thoughts are not fundamentally secret. So it doesn't seem guaranteed or inevitable that one or thing is going to casually try for some million ford mind improvement gamble if they think they found one. And assuming one exists, nor does it seem plausible ai is simply going to arrive vastly smaller than any human who ever lived,. and totally unnoticed by all the exports in the field who are sitting right next to it while it enters into awareness. It may be even like falling ouf the edge of a flat planet. But let's not confuse encountering rocks and shoals or foggy days for no more sailing on earth
