The Unpopularity of Fortran
David: I have a real soft spot for Fortran. The thing that makes Fortran fast is like one tiny little thing. If your code overlaps, passes overlapping memory in parameters to a function and it can tell, then it's not Fortran. What this does is it lets you do vectorization just willily nilly. So that's my unpopular opinion. And it's probably more unpopular with the rest of the Go team. David: Please continue working on go. You're doing a great job.
