In 1983, Pantathinic acid was the only one of these Pantathinic containing compounds absorbed by rats and studies on absorption in the various forms. This is just manifestly false. So we can conclude instead that we don't know a lot about this, but we do know that we absorb Pantathic acid, Pantathine and for phosphopentathine. And so some unknown proportion that might be very large is these higher derivatives absorbed in tact that go to ourselves and are more efficiently made into coenzyme A. More recently, in 2015, nature chemical biology paper, Srini Vasen showed that for For Phosphorus crosses membranes easily in certain cell types.
