In my case, the characters killed one of the two faction leaders before they even met the other faction leader. It didn't matter that they killed a faction leader. In fact, it wasn't them who killed them. They convinced one of the faction leaders, lieutenants to kill the faction leader because they they proved to that guy that did was a heretic. And so there's a heretic, this anti-paladin stabbed him through and killed him and it worked great. That was that was a fine solution,. The minute they met the next faction leader, she was like, Hey, you're my best friend. You just wiped out my competition and I'm very happy with
