How to Build a Model That Will Improve Your Business

Almost all problems in the space are tabular. So like, it's tabular data. That's what you're going to do. Just use gradient boosted trees. Don't worry about baselining with linear regression or random forests. You'll probably get a pretty good model out of that. How do I know when I built a model that's actually going to improve this business so that I can stop working on this one and work on the next one? Because two models will have a much better impact on the business than one perfect model.
