The Fear of a Plane Crash
An enormous object literally city blocks long so wide that you could not see where it ended on either side of the street. It flew directly overhead very close to the ground and it scared me terribly. I watched horrified thinking that this was an airplane that was crashing but nothing happened no car stopped, pedestrians paused or anyone seemed to notice anything. For decades I went back to the memory of it trying to make sense of it and figure it out"
