The Myth of Elizabeth's Bloodbath
Some historians believe the stories are myths or were interpreted wrong. Elizabeth may not have actually bathed in blood, but it may have been a translation error. It's also said that where Elizabeth was extremely wealthy and owned a lot of land many politicians were constantly looking for opportunities to frame her. After her death, the land could have been seized by those who were trying to take it.
