The Relationship Between Local Manifold Learning and Language
I think when we kind of look at the articulation of local manifold learning as you put it, where you're embedding for an example is kind of an interpolation of the coordinates of its neighbors. That sounds an awful lot like whatever we're dealing with is kind of defined by the company it keeps. And certainly, this is something we dug into even more when we started looking at doing fully unsupervised training on neural net.
