The Importance of a Project Charter
A project charter is a one page document that says exactly those things here's the executive leader. Here's the project manager or the person that's going to project manager this thing and all the roles and responsibilities. And then you build the project plan after that is approved. I hate I even hate it that being plural. Decision makers plural is scary but very common. The last thing I'll say if you don't have a project management tool, please stop using spreadsheets. Like we could kill on for another hour but why we just leave it this league? Is there anything that we either haven't covered or that we cover just a little bit?
