The Tawning Through Facebook escalated the negativity between all parties and ultimately made each of them believe that murdering Seth because of his posts was justified. Michael Bargo harbored an intense hatred for Seth and threatened on numerous occasions to kill him. In early April, Michael and Amber stepbrother Kyle challenged Seth and his friend Justin to a fight at Charlie Ealy's trailer. Later, Michael would say that he only shot his gun to scare them off.
