There's no such thing as physical distance between many worlds. In quanta mechanics and the many worlds interpretation, the thing that matters is the wave function of the universe. For each different world, there's a different copy of space. If you change the physical situation in one of those worldsa, the other world doesn't notice, right? It will never notice. So i'ma hundred % sure that's the best way to think about it but that's how i think abot it right now.
