The WGA's Negotiations About Residuals
The WGA is looking for a minimum number of staffing in writer's rooms. They see this as really important to improving writer's welfare, especially since the future of streaming right now looks a bit uncertain. Residuals are what a writer may get paid if there is a rerun of their show. One writer tweeted that the residuals they got for their first show, which was on broadcast, was around $12,000.
