The Psychology of Judgment
The Nobel Prize-winning psychologist says his research on judgment had far more effect on social science than he thought possible at the time. He and colleague Amos Tversky switched their attention to decision-making under uncertainty. Here again they observed systematic biases in our own decisions, intuitive preferences that consistently violated rules of rational choice. This book is not intended as an exposition of the earlyResearch that Amos and I conducted together. It draws on recent developments in cognitive and social psychology.
