The Unity of the Father and Son
He shows that what God is doing with Christ, Christ is doing with us. That's the most comprehensive invitation for all of us to be part of the relationship of the Father and the Son. We don't want to forget the context that this happens as we go and bring others to Christ so that he can bring them to the Father. It's I think explained better in verse 18 through 21, well, 18 through 22, then anywhere else in Scripture.
