I wonder how your own high school group influence the way that people thought about, you know, the future and what was possible. There was almost this sort of predetermined life path that was put in front of us. And then I did actually end up going into a PhD program and dropping out after a year because I wasn't happy. So yeah, that was a bit of an inferiority complex I had for a little while until I moved out to the Bay Area. In the Bay, your status is kind of proportional to how early you dropped out of formal schooling.
